Thankful for the invitation to rest.

Thanking my Father GOD this morning for rest. Our loving and kind GOD is sovereign. He is inviting us to rest in His love, foreknowledge, and providence. Parents in the world spend their life trying to get their children to stand and live independently, but our Heavenly Father has been at work trying to get His children to be still, bow their knees, and depend on Him for everything. Whatever is heavy on your heart today, the Lord wants it. GOD is calling us to focus on Him in order to see our lives through the lens of a loving relationship with Him, where He provides for every need.

Many find it hard to be thankful because the Deceiver has had the ears saying, “it is not fare, it shouldn’t be this hard, if GOD cared He wouldn’t allow so much pain.” If GOD has to conform to our reasoning, then we are Lord, but we all know that we aren’t, because the oceans and the wind and planets don’t obey us, and we all have had people which facilitated our lives, but YAHWEH is self-existent. He is the great “I AM!” He has said, “I AM your maker, I AM your savior, I AM your provider, I AM your shepherd, I AM your refuge, I AM your peace, I AM your rest, but you have to trust me and cease from your own ways and follow my commands to know me.”

28 “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
