The narrow path of salvation is right before us, but we can miss it if our hearts are set on finding some broader way. Just because the path is narrow doesn’t mean the journey on it isn’t filled with abundance. The true and living GOD is not limited by time or space. If our hearts are still enamored with the treasures of this world and its pleasures and comforts, then our sight will be too cluttered to find the narrow path. An affinity for this world will keep us from the death that is the pathway to the new life in Christ. Denouncing the wickedness embodied in your nationality or family tradition can be difficult, but every worthwhile endeavor requires sacrifice, and there is pain in giving birth. If you love pleasure more than truth your heart is not open to the seed of the Spirit which produces transformation. The transformation of the Spirit comes through the accepting of truth. The truth of the Spirit is that all the Kingdoms of this world are loyal to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life.
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (1 John 2:15-16 KJV)
There is not one nation on this planet on the path to a utopian society, and it is due to the truth I have just shared. Look at world news and see if you won’t finds wars and violence and famines and injustice everywhere. I am not pointing this out to extinguish your hope or just to be negative. I am trying to make the point that righteousness, peace, and love comes from a source that transcends the customs of this world and if you desire to be the change this world needs you must transcend it with higher loyalty and affections. Christ is calling us to higher living through humbly accepting His message.
I tell you one of the biggest hindrances today to the unity of the Church and manifesting the resurrection life in Christ is the Church’s union with the divisiveness of nationalism and political sects. YAHWEH is GOD of the universe and all eternity, and His purpose encompasses kingdoms throughout all ages. It is so prideful and delusional for American Christians to think they are GOD’s primary beacon of light to the world. So many confessing Christians have embraced the lie that America fights wars to preserve self-determination, justice, and equality for all. Christ taught that the tree is known by its fruit. How can the wars fought by America, on the soil of non-white countries, be for self-determination of those in these foreign lands when the non-whites in America’s expropriated homeland still suffer from the tyranny of white supremacy? The Civil War was fought due to the failure to reach a compromise as the previous ones that had been reached, such as the Compromise of 1850 and the Missouri Compromise. The administration of President Lincoln was not negotiating to abolish the enslavement of humans from the Union. The Civil War which abolished the initial form of slavery was the outcome of the Southern states refusal to accept terms that didn’t include the expansion of slavery that their self determination envisioned. The truth of the Civil War, like many other American wars, is contrary to the moral and righteous propaganda spread to garner support. We must not forget that Satan uses deception to launch all of his weapons.
Making a god that conforms to your ideology is idolatry and vowing your heart to two lovers is adultery. The nationalism I see among those confessing to love Christ is a twofold abomination to GOD.
24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. (Matthew 6:24 NKJV)
Today, all those desiring to serve the true and living GOD have a decision to make. You must choose to either take up the cross in abandon to GOD with your whole heart or remain alienated from GOD by trying to save your own life according to the ways of this present world. I can tell you that GOD isn’t accepting any compromises and all who oppose Him will not find a place in His eternal Kingdom.
