Only GOD is fit to rule and judge.

The more I live in this earth, the more I see why GOD Himself is the only one fit to rule and to judge.

Now, before I go further into this, let me clarify what I mean when I say only GOD is fit to judge. The all-knowing GOD has already given His verdict on all things pertaining to Human behavior. Many people say you are judging them when you apply or enforce His verdicts, that is a false accusation because the judgment that condemns the behavior came from GOD, and His verdicts have been documented in scripture. For instance, the scripture says love suffers long and still remains kind and isn’t soon angry or acts unseemly (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). If you are a person known to throw fits, but at the same time you profess you are living to be ruled by GOD’s definition of love, then you shouldn’t get angry with someone and tell them to stop judging you when they say you are ill-temperate and need to get a handle on your emotions. They are only reminding you of GOD’s verdict and your commitment to surrender to His rule. You may say you don’t need people to remind you of GOD’s verdict because you know His Word, but when you act out of character and fail to acknowledge it with repentance, then it is not evident. Your response may be that you repent to GOD, but GOD says if you sin against your brother you need to go and acknowledge it to be reconciled back to him before coming to offer anything to Him (Matthew 5:23-25).

I just wanted to add that piece for the confessing Christians reading this piece, who hold the position that only GOD can judge because they don’t like being called out by man. As a Christian, you put yourself on blast when you continually misbehave.

Now, starting again from the top. The more I live in this earth, the more I see why GOD Himself is the only one fit to rule and to judge. The protest and reactions to the protest surrounding the collective punishment of the Palestinian people has revealed so much hypocrisy and bias in large segments of the USA’s political leadership as well as in the citizens enraged with the government’s complicity. I don’t believe I have to go into the hypocrisy and bias of the “United” States of America. I mean c’mon. What needs a little more exposure is the hypocrisy and bias of the protesters who are calling the government and media outlets foul for calling the critiques of Israeli and US leadership hate speech. Many in this same segment which feel unjustly labeled as antisemitic are guilty of labeling critiques of the LGBQT+ movement as hate speech and homophobic. If I align myself with GOD’s verdict and take the stand that same gender marriage and same gender sexual relations are perverse and unsustainable, many of these same people feel that these views have no place in our society today and should be censured. These types of contradiction abound everywhere amongst those who self-justify themselves and amongst the double-minded who try to please GOD and man. Many politicians and many Christians have bowed in compromise conforming to the masses for selfish gain, unwilling to suffer personal rejection and persecution.

Christ does love ALL people, but He also requires ALL people to take up the cross of self-denial to find true life in Him (Matthew 16:24). Only GOD is fit to rule because He alone is all-knowing, faithful, and true. Those who will rule with Him are those who have surrendered their will and agendas on the cross of self-denial that His verdicts and decrees may find expression, now in this world and forever in the world to come.
