Don’t Be Crushed Under Your Own Truth

Witchcraft and divination are used synonymously in the bible and refers to man acknowledging something as divine or as from a god, when it has been derived from a source other than the holy, righteous, true, and living GOD. We see that a lot today in people declaring their own truth. Truth is divine reality authored by the Creator. For someone to state they now have their own truth is not only delusional, but it is an attempt to deify their own feelings and thoughts. This is what the prophet Samuel was speaking to when he prophesied to the dethroned King Saul. Here is what he said:

²³ “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,
And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,
He also has rejected you from being king.” (1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV)

The former King Saul had disobeyed clear commands from YAHWEH, delivered by His prophet Samuel. He rejected the reality of truth and leaned unto his own understanding, and it cost him the kingdom.

²⁸ So Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today, and has given it to a neighbor of yours, who is better than you.” (I Samuel 15:28 NKJV)

To reject the word of GOD is to reject His divinity. It is to practice your own hand at fulfilling your life when you know your life isn’t the product of your own knowledge or power. How can you alone sustain your life when you had no hand in manifesting it in the first place? Who has chosen their own time of birth or their own forebearer or their gender before birth? …None. The fear of the Lord deals with recognizing YAHWEH as the life giver and life sustainer, while understanding that we are but dependent recipients of this gift of consciousness. If that hits you the wrong way, it is because your head is sticking up when it should be bowed down. “Stubbornness is as the iniquity of idolatry,” spoken by the Prophet Samuel, and these were not just words for Saul but rather a history lesson for us today. GOD gives grace to the humble, but He resist the proud. Surrender your personal truth for the Word of GOD, because your personal truth has the same power to move you forward as it did in bringing you forth in the first place.

On the other hand, the Word of GOD made all things and upholds all things.

 ¹ In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. ² He was present originally with God. ³ All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being. (John 1:1-3 Amplified Classic)

¹ In many separate revelations [each of which set forth a portion of the Truth] and in different ways God spoke of old to [our] forefathers in and by the prophets, ² [But] in the last of these days He has spoken to us in [the person of a] Son, Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]. ³ He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high… (Hebrews 1:1-4 Amplified Classic)

The scriptures just cited identify the only being capable and worthy to author reality also known as truth. Anyone trying to conjure a different reality stands in opposition to the true Creator. When you oppose GOD you will eventually be destroyed for the good of creation, if you don’t repent. This is a stern warning for all who proudly and stubbornly resist truth. This rebellious lot includes practitioners of false religions conjured from the vain imaginations and reasonings of man, some deep in darkness and deceit even proclaiming that they themselves are GOD. This lot includes those who use the Lord’s name in vain, calling themselves Christians while practicing greed, oppression, exploitation, murder, and war mongering, who defame the holy name of Christ causing many to stumble in search of truth. This lost lot also includes those denying divine order in nature who practice bestiality, same sex relations, and attempt gender alterations. Every time truth is obscured that darkness attacks the sustainability of life. These words are indeed words of hate, but not a hate for people but a hate for the darkness and perversion that clouds truth which destroys civilization and kindles the wrath of GOD.

⁹For You, Lord, are most high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods. ¹⁰ You who love the Lord, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. ¹¹ Light is sown for the righteous, And gladness for the upright in heart. (Psalm 97:9-11 NKJV)

I am not writing to condemn people but to divide light from darkness that people might be liberated to choose truth. Repentance is not possible without the introduction of a choice. A choice to turn from darkness is not possible without the introduction of light, and there is no light without Truth. People become condemned when they choose to deny truth once they have heard it. Today is the day of salvation. Truth has come into the world wrapped in flesh, as the Son of GOD to reconcile us back to the Creator. Christ, the Son of GOD, offers the pardoning of sin and a new beginning to all who will acknowledge the truth in humble surrender, and to those who will bow their heads unto GOD that He might renew their minds unto knowing the ways of life, and to those who are ready to acknowledge their sinful rebellion, and to those who ask for the power to obey through a new life in Him; the Truth. If you have not already accepted the truth of GOD in Christ as I cited earlier from Hebrews 1:1-3, let today be the day. The weightiness of your life was never meant to be your burden alone. Christ the savior desires to take your burdens and give you His rest.
