Be Holy

Be Holy. That is the Lord’s command, not merely something I am suggesting.

Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 20:7)

There are no commands given to us by YAHWEH which He has not also provided the means for their fulfillment. Becoming holy is no exception. For holiness, YESHUA has provided the gift of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is the state of having our souls fully exposed to the light of GOD, through our surrender, that the Spirit may have liberty to guide us in every aspect of our life. This sanctification of the Spirit makes us holy unto GOD. Think of holiness as wholeness. YESHUA has made provisions for us to be made whole by making available to us abundant life, renewed minds, a new nature, full access to the majestic throne room, and made it all irrefutable by giving us His seal, which is the in filling of the Holy Spirit. Isn’t YAHWEH EXCELLENT! Oh Hallelujah!!

The in filling of the Holy Spirit comes to bring divine balance to our lives by casting off unnecessary weights and filling voids where we had been left empty. The Holy Spirit brings illumination to make us conscious of everything we need to know. In the book of John, chapter 16, Christ teaches that the Holy Spirit comes to lead and guide us into all Truth. Christ, the Holy Lamb of GOD, has furnished us with the grace we need to deal with every perversion the Holy Spirit exposes. By perversion, I am referring to everything out of divine balance. When you study the teachings of Christ, you find Him often saying, “You have done this but you should not have left these other things undone,” or “you have been focused on this, but you should have not forgotten all of these.” There are also the issues of excessiveness, like drunkenness, gluttony, and greed. These are all reflections of things out of order, unbalanced, distorted, or perverted.

1 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight. 2 When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. The integrity of the upright will guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors will destroy them. (Proverbs11:1-3)

When things are not operating as they should, they are considered unhealthy. Often when the bible recounts Christ healing someone, in other words making them healthy, it is said that He made them whole. Making someone whole is making sure all of their integral parts are functioning properly. The Holy Spirit, also called the Spirit of Christ, comes into our soul and gives us integrity. It is extremely important that we yield to the unction and leadings of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is fortifying us against the forces of evil which attempt to pervert us through false doctrines or unbalanced ways of thinking. Christ warned us that a little leaven will eventually leaven the whole loaf. So, it doesn’t take much to pervert something or throw it off balance. It is important to note that if you have been out of balance most of your life, and your parents were out of balance during your upbringing, and your community has been largely out of balance, it is impossible to detect the ways your soul has been perverted by worldly influences without divine intervention. Thank GOD for the gift of the Holy Spirit and GOD given allies around us that have been in filled! The Word of GOD and the Spirit of Truth have been given liberally unto us for these last days that we might know His standards in a time of such perversion, pervasive lies, and deceit. A love for Truth is essential today. Satan is looking to exploit all contempt for Truth, which many have due to vain conceit and pride.

The gospel of Christ is not just redemption and forgiveness which many center on, but the gospel is also the declaration that the Kingdom of GOD has come and Christ rules as King. There is no security of salvation without entering the King’s dominion. The Word must be the supreme authority in your life, or you will be vulnerable to Satan and his hordes.

3 For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, 4 and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. (2 Timothy 4:3-4 AMP)

The ambassadors of Christ’s Kingdom declare His rule and lifts His standards, calling all men to repent and to accept His Lordship, but not as imposters of His Kingdom have done in the past with swords of metal and carnal weapons. The true ambassadors of the Lord use the sword of the Spirit and spiritual weapons to free the minds and hearts by pulling down evil strongholds and breaking shackles of darkness. The preaching of the gospel of Christ isn’t just about the cross He bore for our sins and His resurrection, but it also speaks about the cross we all must bear and the resurrection we experience after dying to the will of the flesh and the ways of this world through the quickening of the Spirit unto newness of life and holiness.
