Love Keeps Us Together

I am the keeper of my Kingdom sibling’s. Though the Good Shepherd keeps diligent watch over us, as sheep in His flock, we still have a responsibility to keep guard over one another. Our power is in agreement, so when there is division, we must address it. Division is a threat because a house divided cannot stand. Things that are not fastened tightly together come a part when they are stressed. This world has stress built into it, so it is important that we stay tightly fastened together. This means whenever we see something loose or coming apart, we need to address it. Relationships are maintained by agreement. A disagreement is nothing more than an inability to relate to someone else’s position or actions. We understand people have opinions and feelings about everything which can be based on ignorance, their experiences, disinformation, strife, and contention, but GOD gives us His commands to guard our actions no matter what we may think or feel. He knows what is best, so we don’t deliberate on His commands, we just obey and ask Him to change our heart if it is needed. That is the fear of the Lord.

When someone disobeys GOD’s command, the effect of their disobedience extends beyond them. Unrighteousness spreads like a ripple moving through water, disturbing what would otherwise be a calm and peaceful environment. Disobedience to GOD’s command is indicative of an even greater threat. It indicates that the foundation for a sustainable relationship has been weakened, because the commandments of GOD preserve all that is good. GOD is love and love binds us together in peace and strength. If you profess to know GOD and consider yourself a sheep in His flock, then this instruction should be foundational to your belief and values.

In this world there is often talk about “live and let live”, “to each his own”, and “live your own truth.” These are the snares of a deceitful tyrant which comes to bring death and bondage, not liberty and life. Satan promises liberty but he delivers bondage. Look at the results of his offer to Adam and Eve. Likewise, the systems he controls deceive in the same way. The powers of the west wage war proclaiming the interest is self-determination for all, but underneath they are pursuing their own beliefs of manifest destiny as the rulers of the world. Their conquest of proposed goodwill instead leaves behind destabilized governments, civil war, nationalist groups labeled terrorist extremist, economic crises, division and just enough weapons for self-destruction. When you understand the history of western imperialism, you understand why social activist in Haiti and the Philippines and Niger are going through disastrous times, yet are rejecting interference from the west as a solution. They have had enough of the west’s version of salvation.

I bring this up because the children of this western system continue to commit the sins of their fathers and live in pursuit of their own ends to the detriment of cohesive community. Remember, together we stand but divided we fall. People wonder how the minority rules the majority. It is through creating division; divide and conquer. This is the same tactic Satan employed in Heaven which led to a third of the angels being damned for eternity. It is pitiful that man whom GOD created in His image are falling for the same ploy. We must understand that rebelling against the dominion of GOD only brings self-destruction. The Kingdom of GOD is righteousness, peace, and joy through surrender to the Truth. Surrender to the Truth sanctifies us together in the light and we become one in mind and spirit. This makes us formidable against the powers of darkness and lies. Speak the truth in love and endure hardness as a good soldier. I will close with the words of the Apostle Paul, who was faithful unto death spreading the truth of the gospel. Liberating souls unto Christ by the power of the Spirit.

1Be you therefore followers of God, as dear children; 2And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us, and has given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

3But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed. 4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk, or crude joking, which are out of character, but rather thanksgiving. 5For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure, or greedy person (that is, an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. 6Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7Be not you therefore partakers with them.

8For you were sometimes darkness, but now are you light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light.

14Wherefore he saith, awake you that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is18And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; 19Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; 20Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (Ephesian 5:1-21)
