The Narrow Way Cannot Be Widened

We are living in the season when Elohim is perfecting and uniting the church. The Lord is using the truth to sanctify and unite the church. When we take up our cross in denying ourselves, and submit to truth, we are able to demonstrate Ephesians 4:4-6.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

So, submission to the Truth of Christ will make us one, however the acceptance of false doctrines will keep us divided. Many preachers have been deceived and taught the lessons given to us by the Apostle Paul from Romans 8 incorrectly. It has led to the false doctrine of once you confess Christ as Lord you have eternal security. Here is the true biblical context for Romans 8 pertaining to the requirements for salvation. Towards the end of chapter Romans 8, where it speaks about nothing can separate us from the love that is in Christ, the Apostle Paul is reflecting back on Psalm 44. In Psalm 44, David is testifying that though they are under the shadow of death and killed as sheep to be eaten, they have not turned from serving the Lord to worship false gods nor turned from His ways. So, the context is not as many prefer to see this scripture, which is that Christ will not separate from us but rather we will not abandon Him when the trials, tribulations, persecutions, and hate comes that Christ warned us about in the Gospels regarding all who would choose to live godly. The servant is not greater than the master, if they persecuted and put Christ to death, think it not strange if they do the same to those that walk in His ways. The flesh or carnal nature rejects this truth, which makes those who are carnal prone to seek an alternative ideology. As royal priest of Christ, we can’t comply with the request of the carnal masses to alter the narrative of Truth as Aaron did when he forged the molten calf for the idolaters which doubted GOD at Mt. Sinai.

The idea that we cannot do anything to forfeit our inheritance in GOD or lose our place in GOD’s Kingdom is not biblical. Christ didn’t teach that and neither did the Apostle Paul. Paul himself said in 1 Corinthians 9:27 that he mortifies his flesh to make sure that after all his teachings to others he does not become a castaway himself. In the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance, the word castaway in context refers to becoming literally casted away, rejected, or reprobate. Paul also taught in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 that we should guard from being deceived that neither  fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. To teach otherwise is the equivalent of making a molten calf to appease those who reject the Truth of GOD. So, every preacher teaching otherwise is in error just like Aaron and just as the Lord in Deuteronomy chapter 9 declared He was ready to destroy Aaron, preachers that will not repent are in danger of being castaways of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6:11 reflects Paul’s understanding of the impact of the gospel of Christ when it is received in truth. When people truly take up the cross of self-denial and cease to live after the flesh and are led of the Spirit given by the Lord to lead and guide us into all truth, they are sanctified and justified of Christ. This is what the Apostle Paul was referring to when he said there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk NOT after the flesh but after the Spirit. To teach people that even if they willfully continue to walk after the flesh they will not be condemned is bearing false witness.

He who the son makes free is free indeed. The salvation of Christ is deliverance from the dominance of the sin nature through the power of a new life rooted in the divine nature of GOD the Father. As many as believe on the Word of GOD are granted the power to become the true image bearers of the divine and Most High GOD.
