I think you may have noticed that the world we live in is riddled with conflicts. Some of these conflicts have escalated into wars between nations, some conflicts are on a smaller scale but just as impactful, like a marriage that ends in divorce or a family dispute resulting in the alienation of one another. At the core of all of these conflicts are issues of the heart. It is the interactions of everyone’s inner values and moral principles. These conflicts are the offsprings of the original conflict between the Creator’s will, which is good and perfect, and all that opposes His will or the evil. Being born into this world means being born into conflict and war. As with all conflicts, there is the potential for trauma. In the case of this world, trauma is inevitable because we all live in one pond of humanity and the ripples are felt by all who enter.
The Creator comes to us in the form of a loving Father, a doting Lover, and a faithful Friend in addition to other relatable forms to offer us a firm foundation from the ripples of this world that we might have rest and peace. He is a rock that we must climb and cleft in. Climbing up can be a struggle but He places notches perfectly to assure our success if we are diligent to seek them. The world, the pond of humanity, the solid Rock, and the climb are all to teach us who He is as the Creator and His heart for us, as well as teach us about ourselves and what our heart treasures.
YAHWEH the Creator has a principle that He even abides by, which is to gain what you treasure, you must be willing to lose it. Though He treasures us deeply, He has given each of us free will hoping that we would learn to treasure Him and accept our place in His family. All of us are called, but He chooses only those who treasure Him with their whole heart because a house of conflicting wills cannot stand.
The gospel of Christ is the message of reconciliation back to our good and loving Father. To know where we are in this calling we have to be ready to deal with the truth of our own hearts and what it is we truly treasure. We cannot deceive our Father because He is Truth, but we can deceive ourselves through ignoring Truth and be lost wandering after the false treasures of a wicked and perverse world.
I recently hosted a study titled, “Clearing the Path To Reconciliation,” and I am posting a link to the study. It isn’t a glamorous production but a mere zoom recording of a small group of believers seeking their life through answering the call of Christ. It is posted on my YouTube channel, which is an extension of this website with dozens of studies for the edification of the body of Christ. My sincere hope is that it will fortify the belief that the greatest treasure of creation is knowing the heart of the Creator.

Amen!
