When You Take My Breath

You are beautiful when;

You are rejoicing in the day at hand and feeling grateful to be alive,

You are assured in your identity as a glorious child of GOD,

You are running over with my love and you are pouring out to others,

You are pursuing me for intimacy by seeking my heart and mind,

You are quieting your own voice because you are seeking to truly hear from me,

You show confidence in my love even though you are having difficulty grasping my perspective,

You vulnerably confess your faults and ask forgiveness to keep anything from getting between us,

You show others the same gentleness, meekness, and grace I have shown you,

You affirm my love and virtue by defending my character when I am accused,

You re-read my letters to you to stay grounded in the faith of our union,

You lay down your life to know the life that is within me,

You are beautiful when…you take my breath. (Selah)

So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. (John 20:21-22 NKJV)
