Allowing Your Mind To Be Renewed

I posted a bible study recently which reflects a principle taught by the Savior. Christ warned us with these words, “The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.” (Luke 11:34-45)

What Christ is teaching here is that when your single focus is on pleasing GOD then your whole being will be filled with truth, however, when you are double minded you are also focused on pleasing yourself, then that deviation will cause you to filled with darkness instead. Remember, Christ said in order to walk with Him, we all must first deny ourselves. We must abandon all for the one true light, which is the word of GOD, not our own reasonings or feelings.
