Doom and gloom or something beautiful and much greater?

There are mass shootings, instability, war, and conflicts all over the world because of selfishness, greed, hate, and fear. Then there are the horrific fates often met by people fleeing these atrocities.

And then there is this beautiful Super Flower Blood Moon that I watched with my youngest son last night. The timing in the alignment of the sun, the earth, and the moon, like viewing the hands on a celestial clock, I was assured that all things are still working according to the good and perfect plans of YAHWEH, the sovereign God.

¹⁴ Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; ¹⁵ and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. (Genesis 1:14-15 NKJV)

So, if you have faith in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, do not despair and do not be shaken. The strong arm of YAHWEH still has you in His embrace. If you are troubled and looking for light in the midst of all this darkness, it is time for you to open up the word of GOD and begin reading testimonies and records of the prophets and holy men ordained of GOD to give hope and peace in times like these. It is time to set your inner clock to GOD by acknowledging your need to submit to His counsel and stop living life according to your own thoughts and feelings. Don’t make the mistake so many others have made in standing in judgment of the Creator, as if you in your ability and depth of knowledge have created anything to match what YAHWEH has set forth in this universe. We both know the answer to that, so you should be looking beyond yourself for the answers.

You were born into a greater story being told, but your life is not insignificant because you have a starring role as a child of the Most High God. You just need to make sure you are in character and not trying to write your own script. The bible tells us that YESHUA the Christ is the author and finisher of this story, and He alone is able to open the seals on the book of life. Here is a peek into the story you have been cast in. Christ came to open the casting call for everyone who will put their faith in Him. Make sure you answer the call and put on the garments that have been prepared for you.

5 And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals. ² Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” ³ And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll, or to look at it.

⁴ So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, or to look at it. ⁵ But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”

⁶ And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. ⁷ Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

⁸ Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. ⁹ And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
¹⁰ And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And we shall reign on the earth.”

YAHWEH’s timing on fulfilling His promises is perfect. Be of good cheer, Love has already gotten the victory.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NKJV)
