The journey and the destination are one. You get to your destination by thoughtfully taking many individual steps. You hit your distant target by taking careful aim. We must be mindful of how we travel through each day. There are universal laws in effect which cannot be circumnavigated because they are ordained of YAHWEH. There is only one virtuous path. Know that Christ is the map, the compass, and the treasure.

⁵ Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?” ⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. ⁷ “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.” (John 14:5-7 NKJV)

If you are to have fulfillment in your journey, it must begin and end with YESHUA HAMASHIACH, Christ our Savior. I know this is a very narrow line considering the diversity of beliefs in the earth, but there is only one true reality though there are many ideas about it. Consider reality the path to life. All humans share the same path to life, and this has been modeled in creation by the Creator for added guidance. The essentials for physical existence are true for all humans, for example, water, air, and nutrients. We all need adequate amounts of each of these in the same way to live. There can be a million ideas about the use of fresh water but there is only one idea that will sustain life and that is getting that water into the body in a pure form in order for it to be properly hydrated. You can have ideas about worshiping water, skiing on it in liquid form or frozen, swimming in it, dancing in it, offering it as a gas by exposing it to fire, and you will still perish of dehydration. Man can have the idea that all forms of life are equal and have rights, but if he refuses to harvest vegetation from the earth then he will perish from malnutrition. I must add that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word which proceeds from the mouth of GOD. Everything exists by the Word of GOD.

¹In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was in the beginning with God. ³ All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. (John 1:1-4 NKJV)

Until man humbles himself to except the preeminence of GOD, he will continue to exalt his own ideas as equal to the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and he will continue to perish. Man’s delusions of pride and his untamed imagination are vulnerabilities exploited by spiritual wickedness to sustain the reign of death. YAHWEH has given us the Way, the Truth, and the Life to save us from this evil tyranny. To accept this salvation, we have to humble ourselves to the recognition of a greater reality than our own thoughts, feelings, and reasonings.

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7 KJV)

We are born into a world of thousands of suggestions all around us. Some are true and were ordained to point us to GOD, and some were fabricated with evil intent to cause our demise. We must seek the Creator for guidance on how to navigate His creation. The child that rebels doesn’t consider the bed he sleeps on which he didn’t make, nor the clothes he wears which he didn’t sew, or the means which give him the very energy to resist. The foolishness of mankind is that of a rebellious child. Thank the Lord for his enduring mercies, meekness, and grace.

By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil. (Proverbs 16:6 KJV)

The onus is on man to humble himself in acknowledgement of the preeminence of Christ. GOD has come to us in the face of Christ and made everything plain. Now man has to align himself properly with GOD that he might receive the inheritance of life as an obedient child. GOD has provided the forgiveness and the grace needed for reconciliation, now man must humble himself to the reality of GOD. Every man that has been granted the hearing and understanding of GOD’s word, must take heed to embrace, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

This prophecy by the psalmist David reveals much.

¹The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament shows His handiwork.
² Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
³ There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
⁴ Their line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.

In them He has set a tabernacle for the sun,
⁵ Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
⁶ Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

⁷ The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
⁸ The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
⁹ The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
¹⁰ More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
¹¹ Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.

¹² Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
¹³ Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,
And I shall be innocent of great transgression.
