The Comforting Light of Truth

The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations. (Psalm 33:11)

The only way to have peace which surpasses understanding is by having faith that the outcome of everything is being shaped by sovereign goodness and love. Know that YAHWEH is on the throne enacting His sovereign will, surer than the sun that rises and the seasons that rotate, His desire will come.

Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
¹⁰ Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure….(Isaiah 46:9-10)

Having peace is not about dismissing current circumstances, it is about continually embracing the greater and enduring truth of GOD. Never let the darkness of today become a curtain which blocks the warm light of Truth that shines through the eternal window of the spirit. Remember, Christ our Savior referred to the Spirit of Truth as the Comforter.

¹⁶ And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; ¹⁷ Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:16-17)
