A lot of things happen when the light comes on in a room. The first thing that happens is that darkness is eradicated. YESHUA HAMASHIACH came into the world and destroyed the dominance of darkness. The Slanderer came into the world to lead a revolt against light by spreading lies. Now Christ has come with the glorious light of truth to destroy the darkness spread by Satan.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)
All those made children of GOD through rebirth in Christ manifest the same light of truth and righteousness to continue eradicating the darkness. All those that love darkness, the covering for their sins, war against the shining of truth which is the proclamation and demonstration of the ways and decrees of GOD.
All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. (Psalm 25:10)
Those who still love sin will take mercy all day long but will reject with indignation the requirement to submit to the obedience of truth. It is only through the acceptance of mercy and truth that iniquity is purged. Justice is conformity to the commands of GOD. I have heard many that profess belief in Christ say that they would rather have mercy than justice. This is because the Slanderer has deceived them regarding their sin and the proposition of Christ our Savior. A righteous person not only seeks mercy for their sins, but also the opportunity to do what is just. The salvation of Christ provides atonement for past sins and quickening power to live justly. All those seeking to live justly embrace the light of righteous judgement because it reveals the way. Children of GOD, come out from the refuge of darkness into the light of the Father’s love. He will replace your shame and your weakness with His glory and strength.
Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed. (Isaiah 56:1)
The children of GOD have been given the sword of the Spirit to destroy the works of Satan. Sharpen up with this study
