The most antagonistic anti-Christians aren’t those most people assume they are. They are predominantly the every Sunday morning, bible carrying, quoting scripture out of context, evangelical, all we need is more love types. In current day, these are people trying to make their ministries successful by focusing on not making the same errors of past religious leaders instead of just focusing on Christ Himself. So, they are over-correcting the errors of the Pharisees and Sadducees and trying not to repeat the offences of the fire and brimstone preachers. These are today’s carnal Christians who are still missing the mark because they are not singularly focused on Christ and still operating in their own strength according to their own mind thus resisting the Spirit of Christ.
“1 These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. 2 They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. 3 And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me. (John 16:15 [The words of Christ])
Today, there are carnal-Christians who follow the god of their imaginations, who are convinced they are doing right when they act contrary to the Spirit of Christ. They put confidence in their strong feelings about things and their own reasonings rather than the Word of GOD. The true children of GOD are led by His Spirit as confirmed in the Word. Those who walk by faith in GOD, do so even when it goes against their reasoning and feelings of reluctance. These carnal Christians are similar to the Pharisees of old, who persecuted the first Son of GOD. Just like the deeds of the Pharisees which were reported by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, carnal-Christians today pervert the understanding of scriptures as they interpret them through hearts that treasure the things that be of men more than the things that be of GOD. This skew towards carnality is the source of the leaven in their teachings and the weight which perverts the scale of their judgment. This is why Christ told the Pharisees and other carnal men not to judge, because their judgement was perverted.
Based on the carnal judgment of the Pharisees, Christ should have had all those people He healed on the Sabbath days, who had been suffering for many years and some even from birth, to suffer another day until the Sabbath had passed. Blinded by pride, vain glory, envy, and shame, these Pharisees were actually working against the true blessing of the Sabbath which is to allow people to rest from their burdens and enjoy communion with GOD. Today, many carnal-Christians just like the Pharisees are anti-Christ due to their love for carnal things like the glory of men and worldly success instead of the eternal things of Christ Kingdom. This is why they conform to the world and support disappearing the oppressed, the poor, and those desperate for life due to inequality, rather than correcting the unjust government policies that create these destructive and unsustainable conditions. You have carnal-Christians that base the value of themselves and others on the level of the worldly wealth and worldly success they have achieved instead of the value conveyed on all people by the precious blood of the Lamb. The true Christians who have taken up the cross and become crucified to this world are duty bound to reflect the light of Christ that exposes evil and glorifies the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
What is missed most in the world today is the righteous decrees and verdicts of GOD. The illumination of the Word of GOD once came from the prophets like Nehemiah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Samuel, and many others that would warn those in authority and leadership. As swords of the Spirit, they would divide between darkness and light and give vision to GOD’s will. We are called of GOD through Christ to be a generation of royal priest that have access to the presence of GOD and authority to decree His Word (His judgments, decrees, and will) in heaven and earth. The deadly wound in Satan’s head was the redemption and establishment of the Church. Christ came and destroyed the work of Satan (lies and darkness) by re-establishing truth and light in the hearts of GOD’s children. The body of Christ is fully commissioned to stomp the Serpent’s head every time is sticks up. As we go about in the earth speaking truth and light, we are destroying the works of the devil in the earth. We are called to be soldiers of light eradicating darkness, knowing that we are called to spiritual warfare. Most of the evil offences come to get us to shut up or act up. However, if we humbly rest in GOD, Satan has no answer for us and we keep on stomping that head wherever it pops up.
This calling requires complete loyalty to GOD first. Which means before mommy and daddy, sister and brother, children and grandchildren. He said, if you love ANY more than Him then you are not worthy of His calling. Because just like with the disciple Peter, that head can pop up anywhere with opposition to the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Christ told him, “Get thee behind me Satan because you have no desire to see the will of GOD carried out but rather the lust of men.” We must speak truth at all costs without respect of person. We haven’t been called to make deals but to destroy the works of Satan.
The devil does not want the full gospel of Christ preached. Many ministers today talk about forgiveness, mercy, and grace, but they don’t talk about the casting into the fire and the weeping and gnashing of teeth. GOD loves a just balance. He is a Lion and a Lamb, a Rewarder and a Punisher, a Servant and a Master, a Maker and a Destroyer. YAHWEH is not one dimensional. As ambassadors of Christ, we are to encourage good behavior but not neglect to discourage bad behavior. Satan doesn’t want us warning the wicked or correcting the righteous. Many of Christ parables taught about the rewards of the righteous and the punishment of the wicked.
The goal of the wicked one is to remove the fear of GOD and nullify His judgments. Satan told Adam and Eve there would be no consequence for their disobedience. The same lie is being told today because evil thrives in darkness or the absence of GOD’s word. So, there is a perverted doctrine of “Do not Judge” circulating in the world and reinforced by carnal Christians. However favorable judgment passes but judgment of a penal nature is rejected. For instance, if a person says of someone recently deceased that they are in a better place or that they are resting in peace, that is considered good by most even though it is passing judgment, but if another says of that deceased person that they are going to hell because they died in the practice of sin, that’s looked down on by most though it is passing judgment as well. The Gospel of Christ has already told us who will be accepted and who will be rejected.
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. (Matthew 7:21)
The goal of the enemy is to spread darkness so that perversions are undetectable. That’s one of the reasons that even the distinguishing of gender is under attack. People are becoming discouraged from using pronouns like “He or She” in reference to people who are clearly male or female based on pleasing people rather than pleasing the Creator. Any church that condones this confusion is anti-Christ because Christ created male and female gender specific according to physiology and said it was good. The attempt to change that recognition to something that is bad is just part of a larger scheme to pervert truth and increase darkness.
8 Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. 9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Isaiah 26:8-9)
So, when you remove the judgments of GOD, what happens to the learning of righteousness for the inhabitants of the world. When the light of truth ceases to shine as bright, then darkness is given an advantage. Ministries that peddle the gospel to entice people have become the facilitators of darkness and evil. The narrative of sharing the gospel of Christ has been changed by many into a soft sell. Catering the pitch based on what is acceptable to people to make merchandise of them. We are called to proclaim the gospel of Christ as the absolute truth and the only way to GOD the Father and the Kingdom of Heaven.
14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life. And who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, as so many, peddling the word of God; but as of sincerity, but as from God, we speak in the sight of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14-17)
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:12-17)
This goes back to the scripture from the book of Isaiah, stating that when the judgments of the Lord are in the earth, then the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. All scripture inspired by GOD is profitable for instruction in righteousness, so by not telling the whole truth for selfish gain you make the world poorer and darker. So, endure hardness as a good soldier and embrace the suffering that comes by living after the example of the Son of GOD, who pleased the Father in singleness of heart. The Holy Spirit has been sent to guide us into the Father’s will which is why the scripture says as many as are led by the Spirit of GOD are the family of GOD.
