The Holy Bible is full of retrospectives and lessons learned from past generations for reference to current and to future generations toward making better decisions, rather than repeating past sins. Like the whole chapter of 1 Corinthians 10, which is a reminder not to provoke GOD through rebellion as the Israelites did after their deliverance from Egypt. Anyone claiming to be a bible believing Christian should know this and practice the same historical reflections for a better future. So, why are so many organizations that identify as Christian opposed to keeping accurate records of American history and the mistakes this country’s leaders have made. The truth?!…Because many of those in power aren’t ready to change course, however that isn’t the biggest reason. The biggest reason is because many of those who profess to represent light and righteousness are actually idolaters. They are idolaters because they love this current world order more than the Kingdom of Christ. If you love the rule of Christ, then you are all about championing His standards. Christ is about walking in the light by acknowledging the truth and hating lies and deception. Yes, Christ is about forgiving the sins of the past, but that is not without repentance which is turning from that sin (180 degrees). All those who deny that America has been built on racism, materialism, and militarism are either ignorant or idolaters. One thing is true in either case, be it ignorance or idolatry, they don’t know GOD. I have made some statements that seem like bold statements, but these statements only seem bold because so much of the truth has been obscured from vision by false Christians along with others who hate GOD and love money.
I’m writing this for a select few because wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and many enter that way, but strait is the door and narrow is the way that leads to life and there are few that even find it. We are in an age where GOD is calling to Himself true worshippers. These are they who are willing to bow down and kiss the strait and narrow way that brings us to GOD. In other words, GOD is calling those who love truth and the sanctification of the Spirit. God is seeking those who will embrace the narrow way with its restrictions in pursuit of holiness. Christ is clear, the path to GOD begins with denying your own ambitions and lust through taking up the cross that you may be able to follow Him up the narrow way. You have to decide whether you are going to choose GOD and forsake the ways of this world or whether you will choose this world and forsake the ways of GOD. There is no middle ground.
If you are offended by any of this, it is because you are a friend of this world, and you love the things of this world more than the things that are of GOD. Beware, the Apostle James wrote, “Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” (James 4:4 NKJV)
The Apostle John wrote this, “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.” (1st John 2:15-16 NKJV)
These brothers are sharing with us through their letters what they heard firsthand from Christ the Lord. Christ is quoted in the book of John saying, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].” (Matthew 6:24 AMP)
As an extra note: Critical Race Theory and the 1619 project both examine the facts of America’s racism towards the goal of not perpetuating racial inequality and injustice. Those two should not be conflated with the queer and transgender agenda. In the 1980s, the campaign for Jesse Jackson to win the Democratic Party’s nomination for president sullied the heritage of the original Rainbow Coalition when his campaign decided to fold in the queer and transgender with their agenda to increase the chances of Jackson winning the nomination. During that election cycle the DNC was to be held in San Francisco. That dilution has weakened the moral integrity of the civil rights movement. The original Rainbow Coalition was founded during the 1960’s in Chicago (with Fred Hampton as Chairman) to combat institutional racism against people of all colors.
