The first book I published is titled, “True Heritage: Recovering From Spiritual Identity Theft .” True freedom and fulfillment do not come until you discover who you truly are. Many people are living a script that was handed to them by powers which seek to exploit and oppress them. When you don’t know the truth about who you were born to be you are vulnerable to these oppressive and debilitating scripts. This is exactly why YAHWEH sent us salvation through Truth in bodily form. Christ taught, “You will know the Truth, and the Truth will make you free.” There is a difference between the Creator’s Truth and what people refer to as their own “truth.”
It was GOD’s forethought which produced you and not your own plans and ambitions. Your personal truth doesn’t fulfill you, only the Creator’s truth can fulfill you because His Truth speaks to the very purpose you are here. Purpose speaks to “why”? The most important thing about “who” or “what” is “why.” “Why” is what gives purpose to the other questions. People often don’t understand “why” they are here, so they don’t understand “who” they are or “what” they are supposed to be doing.
We live in a society today where people are basing “who” they are and “what” they are on scripts handed to them by the great deceiver who’s only goal is to steal their true identity. WHY? Because men and women were created to glorify YAHWEH, the GOD of creation, and Satan hates YAHWEH. Predators are often too weak to kill the mature form of their prey, so they go after their weaker form, their children.
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. (1 Peter 5:6-9 NKJV)
Your deliverance and your fulfillment will come when you humble yourself under the Truth of GOD, and trust in His purpose for you. Any other script you have been handed is like a straw hut built in the sand. It will not shelter you from the flood of lies, or the fiery accusations, or the swirling winds of false doctrines hurled at you by the destroyer. You can only withstand the deception of Satan by being rooted in the Truth of GOD. Christ is the Truth.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV)
The Father represents your identity as He is your original progenitor. He is your origin and ordained destination. The path to the Father is Truth, not the scripts or roles designated by this world. Your sex and your nationality were given to you by GOD and have relevance, but they are subordinate to “why”, which represents the greater purpose of GOD. To submit to the Truth of GOD’s word is to live in the greater narrative of creation’s true purpose. To submit to the Truth of GOD’s word is to live in the light. The Truth is where the illumination comes from to correctly understand the questions of life. Living in the light of GOD’s Truth empowers you to obtain the treasures of your true heritage.
