Getting To Know You

The book of John, chapter 1, teaches us that all things were made by the Word of GOD. The formation or manifestation of created things come from YAHWEH expressing them. Reality becomes knowable only through the expression of YAHWEH. The creative expression of YAHWEH is divine utterance reflecting His thoughts, purposes, and intents. YAHWEH is the only reality, so only what He expresses is truth.

What does this look like in the everyday and the here and now? If your existence does not consist of time spent in pursuit of the truth or in expression of truth learned, then you are existing in darkness. Christ is the light of life because He is the truth. Life begins with receiving Him and living begins with expressing Him. To exist means you are, but that is not a complete statement. You are who? That is the question which answers all others pertaining to your existence. Who you are determines where you came from and where you have been appointed to go. Living is an expression of life and life is GOD, so you don’t truly begin to live until you first know GOD and then go on to express Him. GOD wants to express Himself through you so you can experience the beauty and fulfillment of Life. This is why the Savior taught that we should seek first to be submitted to the truth of GOD and then all things which fulfill our existence would follow.

In 2019, I published a book titled “True Heritage: Recovering from Spiritual Identity Theft.” The book came by inspiration of the Spirit to assist man with recovering his true identity as children of GOD, so he could answer that all important question correctly. Who are you truly? The bible tells us that GOD was in Christ reconciling the world back to himself. Being reconciled back to our Heavenly Father is the only thing that can affirm our true identity. Satan is the father of all lies and he is the father of all those still in darkness.

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (John 8:44 NKJV)  

Christ taught that there was no way back to the Father except through Him because He alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Christ is the express image of the Father. When we surrender to Christ, we are really surrendering to the original image in which we were made. The gospel of Christ is the gospel of reconciliation. I hope this message of hope and divine promise blesses you. I pray you find your life which is hid in Christ our Lord and come to see yourself as your Heavenly Father does.
