There is this popular mantra often heard in Christians circles to help guide decisions, “What Would Jesus Do”. It is time to remove the question and simply “Do What Jesus Did”. YESHUA HAMASHIACH did not do what He “thought” the Father would do, He said He did whatsoever He “saw” The Father do. As the... Continue Reading →
Fulfilling The Joy of Christ
[SNCC singing "We Shall Overcome" 1966 photo New York Times] In America, most people would consider me to be a black man or an African-American man. Take notice that in both instances race and ethnicity comes first, then “man”. Most people even see themselves as either a black person or a white person and so... Continue Reading →
It’s all good without judgment…is it really?
The Lord loves judgment. To be more specific, He loves righteous judgment, and He has been clear about what that is. We need judgment on the basis of these facts: We are not building our own kingdom, we are building the Kingdom of the Lord, therefore we must use His standards. Everyone who builds must... “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.” (Christ)
The killer that murdered eight people in a shooting rampage in Atlanta this week was known by his associates to be a professing Christian and he said of himself on his Instagram profile that he loved guns, God, music, and family. Some of the insurrectionist that stormed the Capitol in DC, which resulted in fatalities,... Continue Reading →
The Power of Walking In Your Calling
We live in a world constantly under forces, be it the effects of gravity, or the effects of consumers around us striving for their ideal share of earth’s resources. There is nothing passive about our existence. We are always feeling the tug, pull, and influence, of some force. In the presence of all these forces,... Continue Reading →
The Great Value of Woman
One of my spiritual mentors, Dr. Myles Munroe once said, “Where purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable.” There is something unique and beautiful GOD has given us in the heart of Woman that has been historically neglected and abused to the hurt of the world. I pray for Women to have the strength and courage to live from the heart their divine purpose, and I pray that men would learn to care for the lives of women as they care for their own lives. Its time to change women’s history.

Recently, I attended a Men’s bible study where there were several men that had wives, mothers, and sisters that had battled or were in battle with breast cancer. I was moved by their testimonies as they shared their experiences. One guy was asked if he was ready to nurture his wife with love as she prepared for her first round of “chemo” because she was known to be physically attractive with long blonde hair and some physical changes could be on the horizon. Another guy described his mother after she had loss several pounds and all of her hair saying, “how frail and different she appeared, yet the essence of her was untouched.” Lastly, there was a brother there which had two sisters that ended up battling cancer at the same time and he remarked how they would often talk about how “Fly” they looked in their expensive wigs.

Peace In Every Season
“To everything there is a season,A time for every purpose under heaven:” (Eccl 3:1 NKJV) There is so much to unpack in this verse of scripture. When you grasp the meaning of it you see the temporal playing out within the eternal. You see the design and intentionality within creation. You see the necessity to be in harmony... Time To Have the Tough Talks
Many Christian churches today are losing their relevance in community and with the youth of today because they resist taking a stand in today’s issues. Churches today hide in the safe harbor of the “Separation of Church and State,” as it is wrongfully understood and enforced. It is a popular hiding place for Christians seeking... Continue Reading →
Will the Bridegroom Find True Love
I don’t know if anyone who has spent time viewing the wonders and beauty of creation would doubt that the Creator expresses His love romantically. You can see this from fireflies to star lit skies, from colors in butterfly wings to the song the mocking jay sings, to mountain peaks across the horizon so tall... Continue Reading →
Much Love to those who visit my fruit stand.
The garden of the Lord is watered by the well spring of His spirit. In times of drought when the heat is exacting, the fruit of His vineyard does not languish or wither. He has tilled the soil well and broken up the fallow ground, all of His seeds take root and bring forth fruit.... Continue Reading →
