Evoking Chavvah: A true feminist movement

Blessings to all my daughters of “Eve” out there. I pray that your precious hearts are strengthened by the love of The Father. I would like to share some strength and life with you. Where purpose is unknown, abuse is inevitable. A lot of the neglect and abuse of women, the daughters of Eve, stem from ignorance or denial of her identity. The name “Eve” is in the bible for the first woman in place of the Hebrew name “Chavvah”. The original name “Chavvah” means Life-Giver. Adam, the first man acknowledged the woman was a “Life-Giver”. The bible says that the Spirit quickens, which means that the Spirit gives life. There is a correlation between the image of the Holy Spirit and how the Almighty created woman. The scripture in Genesis 1:27 reads, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” In this scripture, mankind is the him, the masculine and the feminine as what he consisted of. Together, the masculine and the feminine makes up the image of GOD. If you exalt one and oppress the other, you obscure the image of GOD that is meant to be seen. To obscure means to darken or shroud from visibility. Who would want to hide the full image of GOD from the world?…Satan. Insight into why the Dragon wants to lock away the feminine heart in a tower of seclusion.

The oppression and abuse of women is an attempt of Satan to hinder the full glory of GOD from being manifest in the Earth. As a result of Satan’s assault on mankind’s feminine essence, woman have begun to suppress their own femininity. As a survival technique, the oppressed will often make adaptations to avoid persecution. We see this in the self-hate manifest in some African-Americans and Native-Americans stemming from the genocide they faced from the founding of the USA. In the end, what has the biggest influence on us is not what our enemies to do us, but how we choose to respond. Christ gives us the freedom to choose by exposing the works of the enemy and showing us the True path. John 8:31-33 says, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

I was born male, but I had to learn from my Creator what it meant to be a man and then submit to my calling and purpose. I had to renounce everything that I had learned or been labelled that conflicted with who GOD said I was. Yeshua teaches in Matthew 16:25 saying, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” Woman has been under attack and under-appreciated for centuries, as a result, many women have renounced their femininity instead of renouncing the lies that she was merely an object for sexual enjoyment, or that she was less relevant in her feminine glory as an image bearer of GOD. For the glory of GOD and the good of mankind, every woman needs to embrace her feminine glory. Be fully the “Life-Giver” you were created to be. Look at the workings of the Holy Spirit that you exemplify: the nurturer, the encourager, she who empowers, the teacher, the illuminator and the one that disperses love of the Father.  As with most gifts of GOD, the world has proven itself to be unworthy of them but be strong and be courageously “Chavvah”.

How to Live in A Society Of Broken Hearts

walking on broken glass

Life on earth is traumatic. Sin creates debt, and the hearts of everyone have been heavily taxed. There is a saying, “Hurt people, hurt others.” We have all been impacted by the rejection, hate, envy, covetousness, strife, and contentions flowing from all the broken hearts. The lifestyles of extremism in the world today are a symptom of this brokenness. The failed attempts to self-medicate and to compensate for the weary heart is evident in the cries for more…more…more. Ecclesiastes 4:1-2:

“So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter. Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive.”

The grace of GOD has provided a balm for our hearts, a peaceful and soothing ointment poured from above, the Comforter. YSHUA the Christ said, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” (John 16:7) The Holy Spirit, also known as the Comforter, has been sent from Heaven to console us. The Comforter consoles us by fortifying our faith and hope, through bringing us to a deeper knowing of the Father’s love. Our hearts were made for the infinite love of the Father. The re-introduction of this holy knowledge to our hearts brings healing and restoration. This restoration of the heart gives us a greater capacity to be patient, hopeful, kind, merciful, compassionate, and empathetic. I have found when I become lacking in any of these virtues, it is only a sign that I am in need of more time in communion with the Holy Spirit. I commune with the Holy Spirit in prayer, in meditation, and in studying the Word. Lately I have found meditation to be one of the most effective ways to restore my well-being. YAHWEH tells us in Psalm 46:10,

“Be still, and know that I am GOD: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

In the age in which we live, there is always a lot going on around us to keep our minds occupied and running. Even when we are physically still, our minds are often far from at rest. I love the 10th verse of Psalm 46 because it gives special instruction on how we are to be still. We are told to holt all things and focus our consciousness on the knowledge of GOD. When I meditate, I rid myself of all other thoughts, and focus in on the awareness of who and what GOD is to me as my Father. I focus on His face in the person of YESHUA. I focus on His beauty as seen through His glorious creations. I focus on His loving essence revealed through His laws, precepts, and counsel. It is here that I find a rest like no other place. If I do not prioritize this time and seek it with intentionality, I will never slow down long enough to give my mind, soul, and heart time to rejuvenate.

The drive for bigger and better things, greater success and acceptance, and more sensory stimulation, is just displaced desire for the comfort that only GOD can provide. The ministry of the Holy Spirit can be seen most clearly in the nurturing care of a loving mother. Her main focus is the well-being of everyone in the family. Proverbs 4:23 says,

“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

The sin, along with many of the other faults in our lives, will continue to plague us until our broken hearts are renewed. Yeshua says in Matthew 11:28,

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

This rest is the promise of comfort that comes through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
